'Gnarly Hops and Barley Fest' Craft Beer Festival April 27, 2013
Culpeper, VA. Culpeper Renaissance Inc. (CRI) will be holding its first annual beer festival this April and word of mouth has the demand for tickets brewing.
The Gnarly Hops and Barley Fest, taking place on Saturday, April 27, 2013, from Noon – 6:00 PM in the Spencer Street Parking Lot, will feature live music, great local food, and of course great brews, all located in the Culpeper Downtown area -- a great American Main Street award winner.
Sample Virginia and nationally brewed beers, including area favorites like Devil's Backbone, Starr Hill, and Bold Rock Cider. With over 40 different beer selections available, there will be something for everyone -- maybe even discover a new favorite!
Delicious local food will be the perfect accompaniment with provisions from Culpeper Cattle Company, Culpeper Cheese Company, Glory Days, Kababs ‘N’ More, Radishes and Roses, Piedmont Steakhouse, and The Restaurant. Live music by Aberdeen Green will kick off the festivities followed by "the genuine songwriting & voice" of Bryan Elijah Smith & the Wild Hearts.
With only a limited number of advanced tickets available for the Gnarly Hops and Barley Fest, CRI is encouraging those 21-and-older who would like to attend to purchase tickets early to ensure a spot at this exciting new downtown event. Advance tickets are available for $20 and may be purchased now at Green Roost and Vinosity (both located on Davis Street in downtown Culpeper) and Randy’s Flowers (211 West Evans Street). $5 non-drinking tickets will be available for purchase at the gate on the day of the event.
